Japanese master ceramist Goro Suzuki is rooted in Japanese tradition yet his style is freely creative. Here he abstracts and paints on “blue shino” in dots and stripes and gives us one white shino teabowl to complete the theme.Long admired by Japanese collectors, his work is a favorite of artists and connoisseurs in the United States. Suzuki’s career spans over forty years from his early days as a production potter, through his tremendous success as a revered master ceramist.
